The Performance Machine Phatail kit is a bolt-on kit that allows an 18 x 8.5 wheel to rest comfortably in a stock HD Softail frame. The original frame and seat struts will need to be cut off and several new transmission parts will need to be replaced, but the finished product does not offset the motor or transmission and it does not require a new custom frame. This product can be installed right now in our service department.

Stock swingarm is 9.75" wide	Phatail swingarm is 12" wide		The stock rear fender struts must be cut off the frame.
